Today the plebes on Android got access to chat on Substack, so yes, of course I added it. You now have access to the illustrious Weighted Tangents subscriber chat! Gold stars all around.
Substack wants me to pitch this as a place exclusively for my subscribers — making it the only exclusive place I’ve ever been allowed into, so we’re going to milk it for all it’s worth. It’s kind of like a group chat or live hangout except I get to choose the topics of conversation. Totally normal stuff.
I’ll use chats to post prompts, thoughts (sorrynotsorry), updates, and questions in a desperate attempt to steal your attention start a stimulating discussion.
You’ll need to download the Substack app, now available for both iOS and Android, to access the chat. Chats are sent via the app, not email, so turn on push notifications so you don’t miss conversation as it happens. Or don’t. Because tbh there’s a limit to how many push notifications a brain can take in a day. I’ll still love you.
How to get started
Download the app by clicking this link or the button below. Substack Chat is now available on both iOS and Android.
Open the app and tap the Chat icon. It looks like two bubbles in the bottom bar, and you’ll see a row for my chat inside.
